Setup contains multiple important elements that generally should not be modified.
- Lab ID is the practice’s unique identifier within the laboratory’s system. This will already be set once the VetLabs installation takes place.
IntraVet installations have two available workflow options for generating requisitions. Users should choose which workflow is most appropriate for their practice during training. While it is possible to change the setting from one workflow to the other, VetLabs is not optimized for such use and may not function properly if the setting is changed from a workstation instead of the server. Users with other practice management systems will not see this setting.
If multiple practice locations share a database, they can be configured to submit requisitions as a unified site or individually. Multi-site installations will have a Change Location option under Refresh on all tabs.
