Start Requisition

There are two possible workflows for IntraVet: Pending Activity and Transactions, configurable from the Mapping: Setup tab. Users should identify which workflow is more consistent with daily practice operations and set VetLabs accordingly.

 

Pending Activity

A code that has been linked to a lab test must be saved temporarily to an invoice.

 

Transactions

A code that has been linked to a lab test must be saved permanently to an invoice.


Attach Results

Results do not attach automatically to patient records in IntraVet, but they can be manually attached relatively easily.

  1. Open the lab results within VetLabs.
  2. Choose File, then Save as to save the results PDF to a local drive.
  3. Click Account in the top left of IntraVet.
  4. Navigate to the owner, and select the desired patient from the list of pets.
  5. Click the yellow folder icon to open the patient's medical history.
  6. From the Visit tab, right-click the invoice with the linked code and select Edit Visit.
  7. Click Attachments at the top, then click New.
  8. Browse to the directory where results were saved in step 2.
  9. Select the desired results, then Save.
  10. After attaching results, delete the saved file from the directory where results were saved in step 2.
